Update 11.6 — Threats & Adventures

This update adds new twists to familiar activities, bringing more variety and excitement to your adventures.
Silverton Under Siege, Threats, as well as new scenarios for time-limited events and daily tasks!

Let’s take a look at what’s new.

New Events

Familiar frontier activities now offer more danger, variety, and rewards.  Starting from Tier 5, Threats can appear even in Tier 1 and Tier 2 locations, bringing fresh challenges to places you already know, while many existing activities now feature greater variety.  And for the first time, Skill Books can be earned not only through Tracks, but also by successfully defending Silverton. Let’s take a closer look at what awaits.

Threats

Welcome a brand-new activity — Threats.

Threats become available from Tier 5 and take place in Tier 1 and Tier 2 areas, but the enemies there will match your level. By completing them, you can earn experience and find rare resources typically found in locations of your level — be sure to search bodies and chests carefully.

During your travels, the Sheriff or Nick Bumpo may ask for your help dealing with a Threat. Depending on who reaches out, you will either face a gang of bandits and their leader or hunt a dangerous predator.

Silverton Under Siege

One of the Threats is Silverton Under Siege — bandits take over the town, cutting off its services until the siege is lifted, and you’ll be called to step in and restore order.

From time to time, you may receive a message that bandits have laid siege to Silverton and its citizens need your help. When you arrive, the town will be barricaded, and the locals will ask you to drive the bandits away.

Currently the siege can unfold in one of three scenarios — town takeover, bank robbery, or horse theft, but in all cases, the town’s services will remain unavailable:
Town takeover — in this scenario, bandits have occupied the town, and you need to find and eliminate them all.
Bank robbery — bandits have taken the safe from the bank, and you need to find it and take it back.
Horse theft — the attackers are trying to steal Arabella’s horses – find the stolen horses and return them.

Silverton’s services will become available again once you lift the siege or when the 24-hour timer runs out. Completing the task will reward you with Skill Books and other rewards.

Time-Limited Events Update

All time-limited events now come with new variations to make each encounter feel fresh and engaging.

Here are a few examples of what you might encounter:
Old Road — you might be transporting a dying passenger and need to reach camp in time.
Train Stop — a new variation where you must stop bandits from stealing safes from the train.
Shootout — now may bring you face to face with aggressive wildlife.

And these aren’t all the encounters you may face — explore to discover more.

New Daily Tasks

And by your requests, we’ve added more to daily missions — the task board now offers not only new variations of familiar objectives, but also entirely new ones.

For example, while hunting a bandit leader, you may find them meeting with other bosses instead of their usual crew. And a new fishing task might seem peaceful at first, but can quickly turn into a clash with poachers.

But that’s only part of what awaits — head out and discover even more across the frontier.

More life across locations

Now every location feels more alive — some bandits now patrol across the frontier instead of staying put, moving between areas and making encounters less predictable, so keep an eye on your mini-map and plan your moves carefully.

At the same time, familiar random events and mini-quests can now unfold in new ways, adding fresh twists to what you already know.

All of this is just the beginning of expanded activities across the frontier — jump in, discover what’s new, and share your feedback as we continue to bring even more adventures your way in future updates.
